How We Built it

It took a lot of hard work to build the site. It all started one day when we were thinking about topics. We all wanted to do different things. Then Mr. Spearman said, "All of those things fall under the category of teen angst." That was the spark behind an idea that would light a whole city.

It started with meetings on Tuesday and Thursday. Two hours a week. We worked as much as we could in those days. We were just trying to learn as much html as possible. Our team consisted of ten people.

We then started using Pandion, a communication tool, to meet on Monday nights. Then our team started slimming down. A few people left. Next, we discovered that there was a web design contest called thinkquest. We decided to enter.

The competition was in April, and we decided that there was enough time to enter ACTE. Then, the website started coming together. Articles started being written. Flash banners started developing. Everything was falling into place.

And, the rest, as you know, is history. Our site is up and running. Hopefully, it has helped people already…
